Enjoy the season in the wintery wood with Forest School leader, Polly Whyte. Children can pick and choose the activities, and the whole family can come home with eco-friendly festive decorations to bring the outdoors in. All while warming up with hot chocolate and campfire-toasted snacks.
Here’s just some of the activities:
- Make eco decorations from pinecones and willow sticks
- Learn how to use a hand drill to make wood cookie Christmas tree decorations
- Deer trail – can you find all the deer pictures hidden in the woods and spot signs of real deer on your way?
- Do your own thing – build a den, balance on logs, play hide-and-seek…the woodland is your play space for the afternoon.
