Look for bats flying as the sun sets, and hear bats’ calls through a bat detector. Then look for lights in the dark…
Join us to learn about and look for bats and glow worms in Hazel Hill Wood, near Salisbury. We’ll start with a short introductory talk about bats and glow worms and then set off on a guided walk around the woodland, all led by Charley Miller, our Conservation and Education Coordinator.
This event has been carefully planned to be COVID-secure. It’s all outdoor, with spacious log seating available for the first part. There are outdoor compost toilets with hand sanitiser. The start and stop points throughout the walk are carefully chosen to ensure everyone can be appropriately distanced and still hear the talk.
Children are welcome to come with a responsible adult who must supervise them at all times, including ensuring they follow social distancing guidelines.
Your money will support Hazel Hill Trust’s charitable work promoting wellbeing, resilience and sustainability: for individuals, society and the natural world.
Tickets are £5 per person. Spaces are limited.
