Outdoor first aid training

Thursday 4th and Friday 5th January 2018.

9am to 5pm – on site accommodation is available in our beautiful off grid eco buildings.

Do you work in an outdoor environment and want to be equipped to deal with the health and wellbeing of the people around you?

We are hosting an accredited 16 hour Outdoor First Aid Course run by the Wiltshire Outdoor Learning Team. The course is suitable for all including those wishing to undertake Mountain training Association qualifications such as ML and SPA.

The Wiltshire Outdoor Learning Team has a reputation of delivering the most dynamic ‘outdoor’ first aid course in the County– especially suitable for people who work outside of the classroom or traditional office with adults and children. The course is delivered by staff who regularly work with groups ‘outside’ – ranging from Forest School activities to watersports to rock climbing.

As a remote site with 70 acres of of woodland, a pond and various other hazards, the course will provide plenty of opportunity to explore the practical use of first aid in various outdoor situations.

This is a hands-on course – designed to cement learning and develop confidence.

This course follows the new IOL guidelines and is based on the IOL Level 3 course – for those working up to 2 hours away from immediate help.

Cost:

2 day course without accommodation £140

2 day course with 1 night accommodation £175

2 day course with 2 nights accommodation £205

Discounts are available for IOL members and charities – please contact for more information.
